Cherri Randall recently completed a PhD in Gender Studies at the University of Arkansas where she also holds an MFA in Creative Writing. She is Assistant Professor of English at the University of Pittsburgh in Johnstown. Her work has appeared in Mid-America Poetry Review, Lake Effects, Hogtown Creek Review, Paper Street Press, Permafrost Review, The Potomac Review, Paddlefish, and Sojourn. She has green eyes, fiery red hair, and arms spattered with freckles. She lives with two teenaged daughters, a panda bear hamster named Rocco Jafar, and high hopes for the future.
