Although ELEA CAREY was born and raised in Memphis, Arkansas (the towns of Jericho, Hughes, and Fifty-Six, the two-headed calf at Bolles' Store, Jack's Trout Resort) is the fantasy-land of her childhood.. Her poems have been published in Poets of the River City, Poetry Superhighway, and Southern Voices/Southern Visions. At present, she's a student in the Rainer Writing Workshop MFA program at Pacific Lutheran University.
