W. L. Betz is a full time bartender and an English Major involved in the Cooper's Honor Program at U.A.L.R. with an emphasis in Creative Writing.  Besides poetry, W. L. also writes screenplays, plays and short fiction.  He won the 2000-2001 Alma K. Dougherty Award for Outstanding Writing and has been included in Equinox several times.
