Shannon L. Johnson lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she spends her time indulging in hiking, biking, and writing.  There are plans to build a kayak and learn how to drive it.  She teaches in the writing programs at  the University of Central Arkansas and at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Johnson earned a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Henderson State University in 1999. Her objective is to be a successful writer of fiction for children and adults.
