Stuart Jay Silverman, an expatriate Brooklynite, taught English at Auburn University, The University of Illinois (Urbana and Chicago campuses), and The City Colleges of Chicago. He retired to Hot Springs, AR, in 1992 and named the 27-acre property he and his wife own, Sandy Acres. They've traveled extensively in Europe and Mexico, less widely in Asia, South America and Australia building, on the way, a substantial collection of art and antiques. Over 400 of his poems appear in 100+ magazines and anthologies in the U.S.A., Canada, England, and France. His The Complete Lost Poems: A Selection appears under the Hawk Publishing Group imprint. He and his wife, Sondra Rosenberg, wrote The Ozarks Traveler, a guidebook published by Red Crane Books.
