An Arkansas native, LISA RENEE PARKS resides in Jonesboro, a town known to locals as "the metroplex of Northeast Arkansas". In 2004, Miss Parks received a Master’s Degree in English from Arkansas State University, where she is currently teaching composition. Her poems have appeared in the 2003 and 2004 Issues of Tributary, and in her spare time, Miss Parks enjoys performing the "slam rendition" of her favorite poem, "If I Had Breast Implants, I’d Go Jogging." She is currently placing the final touches on a bio-critical article about the late Arkansan poet, Frank Stanford.
